My name is Jane and I live on a farmstead near the pretty village of Snainton. My opening hours are very flexible but please call ahead to make an appointment.

My children have flown the nest now and I have decorated my lovely large showroom (on the ground floor) so that the wide choice of styles, colours and sizes of hats are a wonderful welcome to my guests. The displays of jewellery, shoes and handbags are often popular! Can I ask that you bring your outfit with you? I do have changing areas so that I can help you get the right look and whether you’ve worn hats before, don’t worry I’ve been doing this for years so have lots of experience to get you that special creation…

While visiting me at Get Ahead Hats, Snainton – why not pay a visit to the picturesque village of Brompton by Sawdon with its two fine eateries. Our village green is a short stroll away where you can watch the swans and ducks on the stream and take in the views over the vale and moors.
