More Vintage Style from Norfolk

This fabulous photo was sent to Jan Overton who runs Get Ahead Hats near Stalham, Norfolk. The bride, Bec, visited Jan with her future Mother in Law, to try and find a headpiece to compliment her handmade, vintage style, silk dress, for her early Summer Wedding. The style she chose was made as a special order, to match the contrast collar and cuffs on her beautiful dress, and her shoes and bag. The results were perfect. The photo shows a very happy Bec and John on their Wedding Day, 25th May 2012 at St Michael & All Angels Church, Bunwell near Norwich.

Vintage Style

This photo is of bride Lee Ann Siggins, taken when she married Gary Siggins on the 8th September 2012.

Lee Ann went to Jan Overton’s showroom as she wanted a pill box style hat to match her vintage design outfit. As Get Ahead Hats stock a wide range of styles to suit every ocasion Jan had no problem finding the style that Lee Ann was looking for. The pill box that Lee Ann is wearing was made to match her polka dot dress, which Lee Ann then accessorised with lace gloves and she even managed to find a polka dot umbrella to complete the look!

Wedding Hat Success

This is a photo of Jan Overton’s customer Amanda Sands and her husband Neal, at

the Wedding of their daughter Tiffany to Tom Youngs on 14th July 2012.

Amanda went to Jan’s showroom, based in Stalham, Norwich, hoping to have something ‘special’ made to match her gorgeous dress.

The Aurora headpiece was commissioned and matched her outfit perfectly as you can see from the lovely picture sent to Jan. The percher was a great success at the wedding, receiving many compliments!
