Wear A Hat Day

Sharon Caton & Thaxted Health & Beauty teamed up for Wear a Hat Day to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research. The lovely ladies at the salon wore hats from Sharon Caton’s boutique, based just outside Thaxted, for the day much to the delight of the ladies who went in for their beauty treatments. A great action picture of a York Hospice volunteer Jo Mann, modelling Jane Wheldon’s hats at a fashion show last weekend.

York Fashion Show

Sam Abbey from Get Ahead Hats York held an afternoon tea at the Cedar Court in York to raise money for St Leonard’s Hospice.

The event was a huge success with 200 ladies enjoyed a fashion show of hats over 2 days.  The photo shows one of the ladies who said “Thanks again for a lovely weekend.  Nice to play hats to escape the old routine.”
