Our hats don’t just go to weddings and the races, they also go to Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen, as you can see from the photos of Wendy Thompson and family at a Buckingham Palace garden party.
Wendy won our Facebook best dressed competition a few months ago, and put together another stunning outfit for her visit to Buckingham Palace. Her beautiful hat came from Sarah Rhodes boutique based just outside Great Harwood, Lancashire.

Ladies from York Against Cancer donned hats from Samantha Abbey’s showroom for afternoon tea raising funds at Oxos on the Mount. There was a great turn out to support a worthy cause.

Sharon Caton, who runs her hat boutqiue from a small barn conversion on the farm, was sent this lovely photo by Patricia Rimmer who purchased her hat from Sharon for a family wedding.

Patricia wrote “It (the hat) was a great success at my son’s recent wedding. It was greatly admired and made me feel really good. Thank you so much”.

Wear A Hat Day

Pictured are some of the mums / models from Stonyhurst School Clitheroe  helping Get Ahead Hats celebrate Wear A Hat Day  with afternoon tea at the Shireburn Hotel  Hurst Green. The afternoon was a great success.

Several of the showrooms held events for Wear A hat Day to help raise £1million for Brain Tumour Research to fund a new Centre of Hope dedicated to sustainable brain tumour research and bring a cure much closer.
