The surrounding countryside to Welbury is picturesque and the local Market Towns have excellent boutiques, coffee houses, garden centres and bistros to suit all tastes.

At Applegarth Farm, you will be able to choose a hat in friendly, relaxed surroundings and feel at ease trying different styles from our extensive range. Shoes, handbags and jewellery are also available and with changing facilities do bring your outfit along.

My opening hours are by appointment, daytime evenings and weekends. I can then give you my individual attention for the finishing touch to your special outfit.

From Northallerton take the A684 East towards Ellerbeck. Just before entering Ellerbeck take a left turn to East Harsley and West Rounton. After passing through East Harsley take the next left to Welbury and Deighton. Take the next right turn into Welbury. In the village the turning to Applegarth Farm is opposite the public phone box just before the Duke of Wellington. The farm can be found down a long private drive.

From Thirsk take the A19 North and then the A684 to Northallerton. After passing through Ellerbeck turn right to East Harsley and West Rounton.
After passing see right.

From Darlington take the A167 to Northallerton. Turn left into Great Smeaton. Pass through Hornby to Appleton Wiske. Just after The Lord Nelson turn immediately right on to Front Street (signed Welbury).

In Welbury pass the Duke of Wellington and turn left down a long farm drive.

From Teeside take the A19 South and turn left towards Crathorne and Yarm. Go over the flyover towards Yarm and take the left turn to Picton to Appleton Wiske then 2nd left after the Shorthorn to Front Street towards Welbury...see right.
