Get Ahead Hats in Petworth has moved next door into a stunning converted barn, over three times larger than the previous showroom! "It really is fantastic", enthused Victoria, "Not only do I have even more beautiful hats and fascinators in stock, but customers also have the space to find their perfect hat in a relaxing atmosphere with door to door parking".

Victoria has had several groups of ladies visiting together for Goodwood and Ascot hats which makes for a fun evening!

Beryl Otley, from York and founder of Get Ahead Hats, and Sarah Rhodes who runs her showroom and head office from the family farm just outside Great Harwood, recently gave a presentation at the Inner Wheel National Conference in Blackpool.

Beryl gave a talk about Get Ahead Hats followed by a short fashion show with models from the Inner wheel. There were nearly 3000 ladies in attendance who greeted Beryl, Sarah and the hats with great enthusiasm and interest.

Claire Baker from Spalding, Pauline Willox from Lincoln, and Beryl Otley from York all came together recently at Woodhall Spa National Golf Centre for a charity fashion show and lunch. They were the guests of the Ladies Wednesday Luncheon Club, and they all had a lovely day and made many new friends around the Lincolnshire area. Beryl entertained everyone speaking about how she started Get Ahead Hats, and some of the ladies modelled the beautiful hats brought along by Claire and Pauline.

Funds raised by the event were donated to Cancer Care and Research, and Claire and Pauline welcome enquiries from other organisations wishing to raise money by holding events at which Get Ahead Hats could provide a fashion show or talk.

Sue Bell has now opened her fabulous new showroom on the family farm near Westhay, Glastonbury. Sue's family and friends were there to support her, and it was a very busy day with ITV local news, radio and photographers all in attendance. There was alot of filming and photo's out with the cows and on tractors. Sue said, "The cows were most bemused when we had a fashion parade of ten ladies sashaying up the feed passage! A bit of a far cry from the usual wellies and woolly hats!".

Margaret Duncan launched her new showroom in Baghurst near Reading on 11th February with the press and television camera's all in attendance. The day was a huge success with forty ladies attending to view her beautiful new showroom full of fabulous hats, fascinators and accessories.

Margaret was supported by Beryl Otley, founder of Get Ahead Hats , Sarah Rhodes who runs the Head Office, and her good friend Alison Hilken. The photo shows L-R Beryl, Margaret, Alsion and Sarah all modelling some of this seasons creations.

Spring Previews are held in all of the hat showrooms throughout March and April.

Claire Baker, whose showroom is located near Moulton, Spalding, is holding her preview on Friday 28th & Saturday 29th March 10.00am - 4.00pm.

All are welcome to view the stunning new Spring/Summer 2008 collections and enjoy a drink and nibbles. Claire says, "Come along to book your hat or fascinator for this years event to avoid disappointment".

Not to be outdone by their customers, Kate Clarkson and Catherine Wigley (Knutsford and Oswestry) also show how great they look in hats. Kate is sporting the wonderful Parisian while Catherine is wearing the beautiful Butterfly, both from Get Ahead Hats exclusive Aurora collection.

Kate Clarkson who runs her showroom near Knutsford, Cheshire pulled out all the stops when one of her customers, Carol, wanted a fascinator made to match her outfit for the Ladies Evening at Chester races. Carol (centre of picture) wore a beautiful turquoise and mauve outfit, and as you can see from the photograph, the fascinator Kate had made, matches perfectly. Carol came third in the best dressed competition that evening, and then went on to win the best dressed lady at Bangor. The other ladies in the picture are also wearing fabulous hats hired from Kate.
